Terms of Use

Welcome to Siora. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Siora app ("App") and services. By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use Siora.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Siora. By using the App, you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

  • Users may sign up with an email address or use an anonymous account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and any activity under it.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in Siora, including notes, flashcards, mindmaps, transcripts, and other materials. However, by creating and sharing content on Siora, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and process that content for the purpose of operating the platform.

When sharing or collaborating, other users may copy, adapt, or reuse your content as allowed by platform features. You remain the owner of your original content and may delete it at any time.

4. Acceptable Use

  • You may not upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
  • You may not attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse the App.
  • We may remove content or restrict access if these Terms are violated.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Siora offers premium features via auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through the App Store.

  • Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Account Charges: Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Management: You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings after purchase.
  • No Refunds: We do not provide refunds for unused portions of subscription terms, except as required by law.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Apple's App Store Terms and Conditions.

6. AI Features

When using premium AI features, your submitted content may be processed by OpenAI. We do not control how OpenAI may process or store this data. By using these features, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

7. Third-Party Services

Siora relies on Firebase, Supabase, and OpenAI. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or data handling by these third-party services.

8. Limitation of Liability

Siora is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages, data loss, or issues resulting from use of the App, AI features, or third-party providers.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App. You may also stop using the App at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
