  • Email Address (optional): Collected when signing up. Used only for authentication and account access.
  • Anonymous User ID: Generated via Firebase to track content ownership and activity without tying it to your real identity.
  • Content You Create or Upload: Notes, transcripts, flashcards, mindmaps, and shared documents you generate within the app.
  • AI Processing Data: For premium features, your content may be securely sent to OpenAI to generate summaries, flashcards, games, or explanations.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide core app features such as notes, flashcards, and community sharing.
  • To process and enhance your content using AI (when you use premium features).
  • To maintain collaboration features (ownership, sharing, permissions).
  • To improve app performance, security, and user experience.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Data is shared only in the following cases:

  • OpenAI: When using premium AI features, your submitted content is sent for processing. We are not responsible for how OpenAI may process this data.
  • Firebase & Supabase: Used for authentication, storage, and content management. Data is protected via their security policies.
  • Community Sharing: Content you choose to publish can be viewed, copied, and reused by other users, but ownership remains with you until removed.

4. User Control & Rights

  • You can delete or update your content at any time.
  • You can revoke access or remove collaborators from shared notes.
  • You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

5. Data Security

We implement safeguards to protect your data. Access rules in Firebase ensure only authorized users can access their own content. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

6. Children's Privacy

Siora is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it immediately.

7. Liability

We are not responsible for how third-party providers such as OpenAI, Firebase, or Supabase handle or process data. By using premium AI features, you acknowledge and accept that your submitted content may be processed by OpenAI under their policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
